About Tony

Reaching out for help can be terrifying, especially when we’re hurting. Throughout the past decade I’ve worked with University of Houston’s Graduate College of Social Work, Menninger Clinic, The Council on Recovery and Montrose Center. As a therapist I’ve heard incredible stories of sadness, triumph, failure and recovery. As an educator and clinical supervisor, I offer guidance to students as they establish and fine-tune their love for this work. When we decide to work together, I commit myself to co-creating a therapeutic environment where safety and growth are of top priority. We are in this together.

Betrayal, shame, sexuality, mistrust, pain and loneliness affect our lives on all levels. Change happens when treatment focuses on mind, body and spirit. My training in psychodynamic, family systems, shame resilience/The Daring WayTM will help light the way forward; whether we work individually or alongside your loved ones.

While I don’t believe in quick fixes or easy answers, I do trust that our ability to relieve suffering is largely determined by our honesty, open-mindedness and willingness to move forward. Success is found in many forms and I will be honored to assist in your path ahead.
